Music Group
We like all kinds of music but for the most part we use recently-written songs in our worship meetings.
Geoff, Andrea and Denise will usually be found leading the singing with Janet singing harmony whilst Geoff, Paul and Denise all play the guitar.
To accompany our hymn-singing (which doesn't always work too well with the guitars) no-one plays the piano quite like Neill.
The songs may be quiet and worshipful or more upbeat for praise. Usually the words are put up on an overhead-projector leaving the congregation free to clap to the beat if they wish.
Our singing group recently went to do a guest-spot at another church and after the singing a lady came up to them because she was concerned that Geoff's "foot was beginning to tap." We feel a little foot-tapping can never be too bad a thing.
